see www.beaulieu.co.uk There are many dedicated cycle tracks throughout the forest with routes mapped by the Forestry Commission and available in A3 leaflet form from any of the Information Centres. Cycles can be hired from most of the towns in the forest. Hacking is also popular - horses and ponies can be hired from many stables across the forest. There are beaches at Lepe (7 miles) and Calshot (9 miles). The Countryside Education Trust (CET) has its headquarters at the Out of Town Centre in Beaulieu. A registered Charity, they run a great range of countryside activities for adults and children throughout the year. see www.cet.org.uk |
